Recently, I have been working on a number of breakage experiments on the clay cobra figurines. Two weeks ago I gave a presentation for the Egypt Centre Research Seminar series. Imagine my happy surprise, when within a few days, they had taken the laser scans Rich had previous taken of the cobra....
and turned them back into a 3D object with a 3D printer!
This bodes well for the future and I look forward to being able to perform experimenting with replicas (both virtual and tangible).
